An English Georgian pine chest of drawers, c.1800-1830, configured with two short drawers over two long drawers. It retains its original bracket feet and a hand-cut moulded top edge, consistent with the early dating.
The brass swan-neck handles are later replacements, likely early 20th century, but sit well with the piece. The pine has been stripped to a pale, even finish, while the reverse retains traces of early paint.
A genuinely versatile size — equally suited as a bedroom chest, generous bedside chest, hallway piece, or low living room storage. All drawers slide well and it has a nice gentle wax finish.
Height: 810mm
Width: 1060mm
