Meet Tim.
Growing up in a family of antique lovers, Tim developed a lifelong passion for the history, character, and craftsmanship of early furniture. That passion evolved into Tim Frankenburg Antiques, established in 2012 with a focus on sourcing and sympathetically restoring quality English and European pieces.
While stocking a diverse range of fine decorative antiques spanning the Georgian, Victorian, and Edwardian eras, he specialises in authentic country and period furniture. Every piece is carefully selected for its unique story, beautiful timber patination, and structural integrity, ensuring it is preserved for generations to come.
Based in the coastal town of Point Lonsdale, Tim balances his time in the workshop with a busy family life. When he isn't sourcing stock or restoring timber to its past glory, you’ll likely find him out fishing or spending time with his three young daughters.
Tim Frankenburg Antiques offers a diverse, carefully curated selection of fine decorative antiques, specialising in authentic country and period furniture alongside quality interiors from the Georgian, Victorian, and Australian Colonial eras.
Trading online and at most of Australia’s major antique fairs, viewings can be comfortably arranged by appointment in Melbourne or at our workshop on the Bellarine Peninsula.
