19th Century Australian Cedar Chest of Drawers

A 19th Century Australian Cedar chest of four drawers. An arrangement of two short over two long drawers with a single slab top, turned knobs and raised on later turned bun feet. Extremely thick cuts of Cedar have been used in the making of this chest and it’s a bit unusual in that it is considerably wider than most with this drawer configuration. In good condition with fantastic grain figuring and a lovely warm colour. Please note it has lost a slither of its lower molding frame at the rear on the right hand side (see photo below).
